Because Mexicans are assiduous people. What American would like to work in a company where it is hot and humid? Electroplating requires a lot of chemistry and they smell rather bad. The work at the manual plating line is exhausting. But most of all Mexico demands much less tax than the USA and the emplyoees are less expensive.
