    I was very disappointed.

From the 5 star reviews and the references to `memory joggers’ and Minitab, I was expecting something much much more.

This ‘book’ is essentially a training manual printed out, so it’s not been written for someone to read, but for a delegate on a training course (and it needs a trainer to guide you through it). The acknowledgements section thanks someone for his “selection of the book content from Smarter Solutions’ material” – which supports my hunch that it’s just copied and pasted training material. There are also constant references to other books published by the author, which means that this book doesn’t work as a stand alone guide, but you need to buy the other books to make sense of the references.

Mine arrived in a terrible state – the thin paper cover doesn’t protect the pages at all, and the cover corners were all bent.

“Forrest Breyfogle’s book, Lean Six Sigma Project Execution Guide: The Integrated Enterprise Excellence (IEE) Process Improvement Project Roadmap is loaded with practical methods for implementing IEE Lean Six Sigma. (IEE is Lean Six Sigma on rails.) The book’s classic “memory-jogger” format includes step-by-step instructions for project selection and execution. This book makes an excellent companion reference for Six Sigma practitioners and students.” S. D. Wheeler, President, Espresso Moon LLC

“The IEE Lean Six Sigma Project Execution Guide” is the only practical, quick guide that helps practitioners take a strategic business approach to applying Lean Six Sigma towards enterprise excellence. I use it as a reference guide and check for leading the oversight of about a dozen key Business Process Improvement (BPI) initiatives.” VP, BPI – National Healthcare Distribution Company

This guide is an incredible complement to Volume III (Improvement Project Execution) and a quick reference guide for migrating through a project with ease. Forrest and his crew take the next level of business management and scope it down to a reference that accelerates project execution through an easy to read and use manual. This will be my well worn project bible for many years and will significantly help any Lean and Six Sigma practitioner/student execute projects like a pro!

This book is true to the title. Each step of project execution in the Intergrated Enterprise Excellence process is laid out in detail. Starting from the proper selection of the project to the control of results step, Forrest shows the logical steps in word, roadmaps and checklist. The P-DMAIC is defined at each step with actions that should be taken and flow diagrams that take you down the right implementation path for the measurements and analysis that best suit your project’s requirements.

If you will follow this guide, you will make meaningful improvement to your business no matter what it is. This guide is a body of knowledge level source that will be dog-eared and dirty from use at all levels of any organization.
