Six Sigma black belt certification is fast catching up as a mantra for youngsters seeking lucrative career alternatives. Experts say that while there were only 200 American Soceity for Quality (ASQ) certified black belts three years back, today there are around 500 in the country, much less than an unestimated demand. This is good news also for students who just passed their standard XII. They can now appear for the ASQ online exam while pursuing their graduation. Despite being offered in the country for over two years this is a lesser known qualification, yet it can fetch aspirants five times higher salaries, according to students, experts, industry, and trainers.
